Many souther dishes are accredited to Gullah and African ancestral techniques. Growing up as a child my mom and grandmother would always fix these delicious meals for me. Now it's my turn to show the world our tasteful food/traditions from our Gullah Culture. Okra, rice, yams, hot peppers, peas, sesame seeds and watermelons were some foods brought across the sea to America by my Gullah ancestors.
